Freedom Bank is locally owned and operates as a community-oriented institution with a strong focus on customer service. Our bank was founded in 1999, and operates offices in Huntingburg, Dale, Jasper, and Rockport, Indiana. Today we are one of the top-performing banks in Indiana.

We are currently seeking a part-time Teller for our Rockport location. The work schedule will require approximately 28 hours per week. The position will also require working every Saturday.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide account services to customers.
  • Process transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, loan payments, and payoffs.    Process cashier checks, VISA card advances, advances, IRA deposits.
  • Process night deposits and check orders.
  • Cash handing and reconciling cash drawer.
  • Coin wrapping
  • Scanning and transmitting transactions.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Outstanding listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow directions and apply policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Basic math proficiency with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Basic computer knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).

 

We’re currently seeking a Full-time Teller at our Jasper office.  Freedom Bank offers a competitive benefit package.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide account services to our customers.
  • Process transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, loan payments, and payoffs. Process cashier checks, VISA card advances, line of credit advances, IRA deposits, & wire transfers.
  • Process night deposits and check orders.
  • Perform cash handling and reconciling cash drawer duties.
  • Scan and transmit daily banking transactions.
  • Open new accounts for the following applications, DDA, SAV, SDB, TDA & IRAs.
  • Adhere to bank security and compliance policies to protect the Bank.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
