FULL-TIME LOAN PROCESSOR

We’re seeking a detail-oriented candidate with excellent organizational skills and a talent for multi-tasking to join our Freedom Bank family as a full-time Loan Processor at our Jasper location. As a Loan Processor, you’ll be responsible for obtaining, processing, and reviewing documentation for loan approvals, as well as coordinating third-party services. Using your admirable people skills, you will also assist loan officers in answering consumer questions throughout the process.

Our new Loan Processor will join a highly motivated team dedicated to providing superior customer service and making a positive impact in Jasper.

The Day-to-Day

  • Process all types of loans.
  • Organize preliminary & closing documents on all loan applications, including the debit and credit entries to process loans.
  • Review all documentation necessary for loan approval for accuracy and completeness.
  • Place third party vendor orders for appraisals, titles and other loan specific requirements pertaining to federal and state guidelines.
  • Assists in responding to questions from consumers throughout the loan process.
  • Follow-up on outstanding documentation needed for the loan file.
  • Work with the lender to secure all necessary documents for the loan file.
  • Responsible for the tracking of insurance throughout the life of the loan.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with loan officers, realtors, builders, dealers and customers.
  • Perform teller duties as needed.
  • Adhere to security and state and federal regulatory compliance responsibilities to protect the Bank.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as needed.

Must Haves:

  • Basic math proficiency with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Basic computer knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented

Full-Time Time Deposit Account (TDA) Specialist

Can you work at a fast pace to provide high-quality, professional service to both customers and other employees? Freedom Bank is seeking a new full-time TDA Specialist to become one of the friendly faces on our team in Huntingburg. We’d like someone who can respond to customer service requests in a professional manner and has some math proficiency. If you have experience in or knowledge of TDA and deposit operations, even better!

What to Expect:

The Day-to-Day

  • Distributing funds for IRA customers as requested.
  • Handling a death on an account, including payouts to beneficiaries.
  • Coding deposits/contributions correctly.
  • Assisting customers with the transfer/rollover of funds.
  • Posting individual deposits for HSA commercial clients.
  • Maintaining rate sheets for deposit accounts.
  • Updating system with rate changes on TDAs.
  • Closing out CDs & IRAs.
  • Posting CD withdrawals.
  • Updating beneficiaries amongst TDA products.
  • Overseeing Required Minimum Distributions; mailing letters to customers; establishing RMD distributions for customers, including federal income tax withholding.
  • Perform data entry and other tasks required for the administration and processing of TDAs and the maintenance of customer information.
