DEPOSIT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Can you work at a fast pace to provide high-quality, professional service to both customers and other employees? Freedom Bank is seeking a new full-time Deposit Operations Specialist to become one of the friendly faces on our team in Huntingburg. We’d like someone who can respond to customer service requests in a professional manner and has some math proficiency. If you have experience in or knowledge of accounting and deposit operations, even better!

What to Expect:

The Day-to-Day

  • Field phone calls and respond to email requests in a professional manner, and provide internal support for employees.
  • Post debit and credit journal entries.
  • Assist with ACH duties.
  • Process wire transfer requests.
  • Handle NSF list and unpostables on a daily basis.
  • Enter file maintenance.
  • Process Mobile Remote Deposit Capture and Web Remote Deposit Capture items.
  • Investigate Reg E claims and handle accordingly.
  • Process teller alerts, large dollar items, holds, and stop payments.
  • Process chargebacks and incoming returns.
  • Adhere to security and compliance responsibilities to protect the Bank.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed.

Must Haves:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Outstanding listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow directions, and apply policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ability to adapt to a busy work environment.
  • Ability to speak on the phone with professionalism.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting-Standing-Walking: Approximately 90% or more of time (“constantly”) is spent working at a desk. Balance of time (10%, or “occasionally”) is spent moving around work areas. Ability to traverse one or more flights of stairs may be required.

Speaking-Hearing: Clear dictation and acute hearing are necessary for effective and frequent (up to 90% of work time) communication with co-workers, customers, and outside agencies, by telephone and in person.

Vision: Ability to effectively use two computer screens and interpret printed materials, memos and other appropriate paperwork, 90% or more of work time.

Lifting-Carrying: The ability to transport files, office supplies, and lifting to a weight of 35 lbs. and occasionally, up to 50 lbs.

FULL-TIME TELLER

Are you a whiz for customer service, detail-oriented, and good at thinking on your toes? Freedom Bank is looking for a new teammate at our Rockport office who’s dedicated to providing quality customer service. As a Full-Time Teller, you’ll be responsible for providing account services to customers, including opening new accounts, processing transactions, and handling cash.

What to Expect:

The Day-to-Day

  • Provide account services to customers.
  • Process transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, loan payments, and payoffs. Process cashier checks, VISA card advances, line of credit advances, IRA deposits, & wire transfers.
  • Process night deposits and check orders.
  • Cash handing and reconciling cash drawer.
  • Scanning and transmitting transactions.
  • Open new accounts (DDA, SAV, TDA & IRAs).
  • Adhere to security and compliance responsibilities to protect the Bank.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed.

Must Haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math proficiency with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

LOAN OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Would you like to apply your skills to helping Freedom Bank customers meet their financial goals? We’re looking for a detail-oriented full-time Loan Operations Specialist with excellent communication skills to join our team in Huntingburg. You’ll be responsible for booking new loans, providing support to customers, and performing other duties to support our Loan Operations department. Accounting and loan operations experience is preferred, but fast learners should apply.

What to Expect:

The Day-to-Day

  • Book new loans, renewals, and modifications.
  • Post payments, draws, and principal reductions.
  • Edit loans booked to loan platform for accuracy and clear loan unposted transactions.
  • Pay escrowed homeowner’s insurance and property taxes.
  • Process escrow analyses (shortages and overages).
  • Pay private mortgage insurance.
  • Digital banking customer and employee support.
  • Scan Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) files, loan file maintenance documents, and other documents.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Are you technically savvy? Do you enjoy using your knowledge and expertise to help other people? Freedom Bank is seeking a new full-time Information Technology Generalist to join our friendly, hardworking team in Huntingburg and provide the technical support we need to serve our customers. We’d like to meet someone with network and server management support experience who can back up and secure data, ensure updates are performed, monitor servers, troubleshoot and provide helpdesk support, and perform other duties to support our operations.

What to Expect:

The Day-to-Day

  • Maintain Information Security Policy, Business Continuity, and Incident Response policy.
  • Administer Meraki network and data security, including but not limited to, Azure AD, Office 365, Active Directory (AD), Group Policy (GPO), firewalls, IDS, IPS, Barracuda backups, virus protection, email security, and CSI Core NuPoint Admin to include all satellite CSI Core applications.
  • Ensure updates and data backups are performed.
  • Monitor servers, LAN/WAN, Meraki, IDS/IPS, Umbrella and Antivirus for actionable alerts.
  • Assist with design, implementation, and support of new core software/hardware.
  • Respond to IT issues and provide helpdesk and technical support.
  • Set up equipment for new users.
  • Ensure system optimization for all technology resources.

Must Haves:

  • Associate’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Computer knowledge with Microsoft Office Exchange (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint).
  • Certifications that would be beneficial for the position include: A+, Net+, Sec+ Certification, Microsoft Certification.
  • Experience working with network and server management support.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide account services to customers.
